RSA Student Awards Mentoring
On 16th April 2012, Yanki was invited by the RSA
(Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce) to conduct a coaching workshop for students, all of whom had been shortlisted for the RSA Student Design Awards 2012.
The workshop’s brief was ‘Something for everyone: Use design to bring the generations together’ .The award was funded by the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation which initiates and supports pioneering social, cultural and educational developments across the UK and Ireland. Students were requested to design a product, environment or service that eases the isolation and loneliness of older people by uniting them with people of different generations through shared interests or needs.
