MaD 2011, Hong Kong
Yanki was invited by MaD (Make a Difference) Hong Kong to give a talk and conduct a workshop for an audience of 16-30 year olds in January 2011.
The workshop called “Design . Lives – Experiencing a Designerly Way of Doing“ is for people who would like to explore the third culture, ie. the designerly way of knowing; and more importantly, experience designing. with In conjunction with “creative partners” participants will design and explore a specific way of design that addresses social inclusion.
MaD (Make a Difference) inspires and empowers young people to be the change. A mix of creativity, entrepreneurship, innovation and discovery, it supports young people to create positive personal, economic, social and environmental changes. MaD 2011 brought an exciting line-up of international changemakers to Hong Kong, adding an energizing boost to 1,200 youngsters from Asia and beyond.
